Home / Daily life
Ordinary days, done well.
Life here looks like life at home: breakfast at the kitchen table, an afternoon in the garden, a favorite show after dinner. The care happens quietly in the background.
A day at the house.
There's a rhythm, not a rulebook. Residents who like to sleep in, sleep in.
Unhurried mornings
Residents wake on their own schedule. Help with washing and dressing, then morning medications.
Breakfast together
Hot breakfast at the kitchen table: oatmeal, eggs, fruit, and coffee the way each person likes it.
Movement and the morning paper
Chair exercises, a short walk in the backyard, puzzles, or reading the news aloud.
Lunch
The main meal of the day, home-cooked and adjusted for each resident's diet.
Rest and quiet time
Naps, music, phone calls with family, or a favorite show in the living room.
Afternoon activity
Gardening, crafts, sing-alongs, card games, pet visits, or a video call with grandchildren.
Dinner
A lighter meal and conversation. Families are welcome to join with a little notice.
Winding down
Evening medications, help getting ready for bed, and a calm, dimly lit house. Caregivers are on duty through the night.
The backyard has shaded seating, raised garden beds and level paths for a safe walk outside.

Real food, cooked in our kitchen.
Three meals a day and snacks, made fresh, with a weekly menu shaped by what residents like. We cook for special diets every day, including diabetic, low-sodium, soft and pureed textures, and we welcome family recipes and cultural favorites.

Tours are relaxed and unhurried. Meet the nurse owner, see the rooms, and stay for coffee. Most families visit within a day or two of calling.
